Travelling from Johannesburg to Cape Town by train
We did something very adventures this past weekend. We travelled to Cape Town by train. Were dropped on Pretoria Station at 6:00 on Friday. We travelled to Johannesburg Station by bus. At 8:15 we arrived on Jo’burg Station. The train arrived at 9:15 and we departed at about 9:30. The kids loved the trip on the train. We had so much to see along the way. The whole trip took 1 and a half day so we arrived in Cape Town on Saturday about 16:00. We rented a car, checked into our hotel and then we set off to drive the road to Capman’s Peak. After that we went and ate Fish an Chips at Houtbaai. Then it was time to go back to the Hotel and have a well deserved rest for the night. Next morning we waked early and set of to the Waterfront. There we bought tickets and took a trip on a boot in the Harbour. We saw a big Italian ship and could also see Robben Island from far. At 12:00 we had to go back to the Train Station. The next day at about 17:35 we were back at home. What a great trip that was.
