2S4U Sketch 33 – A wedding card

I decided to use Kazan’s sketch to make a card for my friend.  She needed a card for a wedding she’s going to attend.  I used the initials of the bride and groom as accents on the card.  The paper is from My Minds eye.  

I used the 09 Kutups font (the best shapes!) to cut the oval shapes http://cleversomeday.wordpress.com/2009/05/24/new-free-dingbat-font-for-die-cutters/ and I used the Loop border which I downloaded from  http://scale-files.blogspot.com/ (the nicest designs!).

Nail art again to give a bit of glamour to the card.  LOL!

Onfeilbare kaasskons

Ek wil graag ‘n resep met julle deel.  Hierdie resep het net nog nooit geflop nie!  Dit is vinnig want jy gooi alles net bymekaar, meng , skep in ‘n muffinpan en bak.  Jy kan kaas bygooi dit gee hom ‘n lekker smaak, of indien jy nie kaas het nie, kan jy die kaas weglaat. 

2k Bruismeel 

1k melk

1 eier

1/2k olie

1t bakpoeier

1t sout

1k gerasperde kaas (opsioneel)

1/2t rooipepper of enige spice wat jy van hou (opsioneel)

Meng alles en bak vir 20min geen 200 grade C, OF 400 grade F, OF met gas op 5

The Pink Elephant challenge 27

The challenge at The Pink Elephant is to use brown, turquoise and neutral colours for your card.  I used the same paper created in Photoshop with a pattern, as mentioned in the post below.  The border was cut with my cricut using  SCAL .  I created the border and I would like to share the svg with you – you can download it at http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=80a6b4cf6af5d3dc8ef1259ff1b60e81e04e75f6e8ebb871

Mardi Grass card

A friend of mine asked me to make her a Mardi Grass card for a 21st birthday she had to attend.  At first I was dumbfounded…  what is Mardi Grass???  Well after reading about it on Wikipedia I have a better idea of what it actually is.  I needed a mask for the card.  I cut the mask with my cricut after I created a svg file from a picture I found.  This is my card – green, purple and gold.  I embossed the mask with gold and decorated it with feathers and beads.
